The first step in managing a dental emergency is not to panic. Remember, help is just a phone call away. Here's what you can do before you reach our office:

Rinse your mouth with warm water.
If there's bleeding, apply a piece of gauze to the area for about 10 minutes or until the bleeding stops.
Use a cold compress on the outside of the cheek or mouth to reduce swelling and alleviate pain.
